Unleash Greatness

When Is a Lobby Not a Lobby?

ClientNational Gypsum

The Challenge

First impressions speak volumes when it comes to your lobby. National Gypsum wanted to create a lobby that was a visual, self-guided museum-like space that conveyed their history, their offering and most importantly their brand. Lobby’s and showrooms are prime opportunities to inform and delight your customers about who you are and what you do. In addition to including the typical lobby features, National Gypsum wanted a way to incorporate their philanthropic passion into the design.

Services Provided

Black L-shaped desk, black couch and a photo gallery in the front lobby of National Gypsum.
National Gypsum lobby vision and values wall concept focusing on one voice.
3D words, teamwork, empowerment, and continuous improvement on a wall in National Gypsum's lobby.
Lobby wall with photos that describe the history and founding of National Gypsum.

The Result

A dynamic and thoughtful solution that displays the company’s brand, product line and heritage in a series of museum like displays including floor to ceiling wall graphics. At the entrance of the lobby is a large backlit dimensional sign of the company logo as well as small sculptures showcasing their appreciation for art. To maintain the clean contemporary lobby design, we designed a philanthropic cart (on wheels) that parked into the wall replacing the donation boxes often found in the center of the lobby throughout the year.
